How to upgrade Linux shared memory /dev/shm

So this one is easy, just SSH in to your server and enter the command:

mount -o remount,size=1G /dev/shm

Change the 1G to whatever you want, and you are set.

Then you can simply issue a df -a and this should now show your new and improved directory with it’s increased size.
